The existing transfer approach shifted to a partial transfer model that used customs benefits available through the U.S.-Mexico free trade zone. This reduced transfer costs per load while maintaining compliance and transit reliability.
2. Simplified cross-border execution with EZ-Border®
A costly diversion process was removed by converting all cross-border freight to the Schneider EZ-Border service, leading to:

With EZ-Border, traffic managers needed to make only one call to the Schneider customer service team, and the loads moved. The billing processes were consolidated from multiple invoices to a single bill from Schneider, making costs more predictable and easier to manage.
