GREEN BAY, Wis. (March 26, 2024) – Schneider National, Inc. (NYSE: SNDR), a premier multimodal provider of transportation, intermodal and logistics services, is proud to announce that Senior Vice President of Operations Jason Howe has been named a 2024 Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

This prestigious award celebrates outstanding executives who demonstrate excellence in supply chain management and provide guidance for other leaders looking to achieve a competitive advantage. Howe was selected as one of the Top Shippers, a category which includes professionals in transportation sectors including freight, trucking, rail, air cargo and ship/ports.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this recognition,” said Howe. “It's been a thrilling journey to expand our Bulk offering with a clear focus on the continued enhancement of both our customer and associate experience.”

Howe has been instrumental in expanding Schneider’s Bulk business, which now hauls over 12,000 liquid goods from food grade to specialty chemicals. It’s a distinctive service that few large carriers offer, and one that Schneider has been providing for over 50 years. Howe also led the seamless integration of the company’s recent strategic acquisitions – M&M Transport in 2023 and Midwest Logistics Systems (MLS) in 2022.

Outside his duties at Schneider, Howe is actively involved in advancing the industry’s initiatives and serves on the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) board of directors and government relations advocacy committee. In these capacities, Howe advocates for the tank truck industry, and he brings his learnings and insights back to Schneider.

Prior to joining the carrier, Howe served in the U.S. Army as an officer and helicopter pilot, holding several leadership positions including company commander.

“Jason’s thoughtfulness and hands-on engagement with the Bulk team and across the organization resonates deeply with our associates,” said Executive Vice President and Group President of Transportation and Logistics Jim Filter. “His exceptional leadership not only helps grow Schneider’s talent pool, but it also helps propel the organization toward success. This well-deserved award is a testament to Jason’s many strengths.”

Recipients of this year’s award will be profiled in Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s March

2024 issue, which will be distributed at MODEX 2024 and at www.SDCExec.com.
